Jacky Lin joined IDT in 2006 as Vice President and was promoted to Partner in 2008. Jacky brought his solid operational experience gained extensively from MNC, state-owned and private enterprises in mainland China to iDT. In iDT, Jacky has being instrumental in accessing to deal flows in high growth sectors.

Before 2006, Jacky was the Assistant President of Tsinghua Leaguer Venture Capital Ltd., an active local VC firm backed by Tsinghua Univ. and Shenzhen government. Jacky’s investment experiences also include his own venture, a turnaround investment boutique, which he co-founded and took the role of president. Before his entrepreneurial venturing, Jacky had worked in I.T. industry for 8 years with multi-level positions from sales manager to GM of MNC’s branch in China. Jacky has proven track-records in sales & marketing, entrepreneurship, and venture capital investment.

Jacky holds a B.E. in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing and an MBA from Queen’s School of Business, Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada.
